Neuroveil XF-2258 Garrus III
DEV NOTE: DO NOT USE MORE THAN 40% THROTTLE IN AIR
DEV NOTE: DO NOT USE MORE THAN 5% UPON TAKE OFF
DEV NOTE: KEEP ABOVE 450 MPH WITH HIGH MANEUVERING TURNS
A successor to the initial "Garrus" Project, the XF-2258 Garrus III is automated solely be an advanced AI system - the aircraft bolsters very little armament aside from 6 "dronnazuuth" Surface to ground missiles and a single hi-frequency chemical laser. the Garrus III's on-board Artifical inteligence is capable of processing 1.11999421 Yottabytes a minute, to which approximately 5% is required to operate the otherwise "Impossible" aircraft. The XF-2258 has eight pulse detonation /scramjet engines that give this aircraft its nickname of "Tarantula Hawk", the AI in the Garrus self limits the maximum throttle capacity to 40% of its full potential as any higher vastly increases risk of both failure to the airframe and/or AI systems. the aircraft is capable of rapidly accelerating if escaping is required, however these short bursts also may cause tear in the aircrafts engines.
