Based off the earlier SO.9001, the SO.9002 improves many aspects. Firstly, the aircraft gains greater swept wings and more powerful engines, meaning supersonic flight is easily achievable. It now holds a modified GAU-8 Gatling cannon as well as a redesigned tail section, providing more rigidity. A worthy successor.
