XQ-9 "Deadman" VTOL Gunship
Decided it was time for a nice VTOL attack plane.

HISTORY/BACKSTORY-
-The XQ-9 "Deadman" Gunship was designed as a heavy ground attack unit with plenty of weapons and the armor to back it up. It first entered worldwide service in 2088 and was immediately received by pilots nicknamed the "Deadman" because any troop who saw it was, well, dead. It enjoyed service much longer than it was envisioned for as there was no real reason to replace it until it began falling out of service due to lack of maintenance and parts in 2123.

CONTROLS-
-Act. 8 is the VTOL functions.
-Act. 7 is the large rear engine for forward thrust.
-VTOL Bar for VTOL control.

FINAL NOTES-
-It can be a little difficult to fly, but honestly, it's one of the better performing VTOL crafts out there. If it is flat-spinning, open the throttle and give it all the forward power you can and it will (most of the time) come out of it.

Thanks, I kinda think it looks a little tacky having those RCNs on the nose.
@Squirrel
@SteadfastContracting Yeah, I've made a few VTOL aircraft in the past. Although I tend to use VTOL engines for multi axis thrust vectoring rather than VTOL these days.
.
I do actually have a VTOL aircraft in my backlog somewhere. Can't remember its ES number though.
.
And I'll give it a look when I'm next on SP. From looks alone though, it looks really good.
Yeah, I really actually take great joy in making good VTOL things, they just take a long time to make because of balance issues.
Have you ever seen this: Hover Rover
@Squirrel
@SteadfastContracting Yeah, I flew over the runways a number of times and carpet bombed the airports. VTOL aircraft are actually surprisingly fun to fly, if a little awkward to make.
Thanks. I thought it was really fun to hover over the convoy and release the bombs.
@Squirrel
Looks cool and is good fun to fly about!
Okay. Thanks anyways.
@MLG26
@SteadfastContracting no
Really? Cool, I didn't know that. Thanks!

@MemeKingIndustriesAndMegaCorporation
