Curtiss F9C-2 Sparrowhawk 9060
2,113 Turdy1
8.6 years ago
Bureau Number 9060 was the fifth Sparrowhawk to be used by the US Navy. As with all other Sparrowhawks, it wore section leader markings, with 9060's being willow green. When the USS Macon crashed in Monterrey Bay in 1935, 9060 was aboard, resulting in the aircraft's loss.
Notes:
All six Sparrowhawks I've uploaded are made to the correct size as the originals, but feature retractable landing gear to compensate for the lack of removable, spatted gear used on the originals, and they have their guns moved to the wings, as the game lacks synchronized guns.
