@IAmMyBoss no problem!
thank you so much @shipster
@IAmMyBoss yeah
I have been on a vacation so sorry that I have taken so long to respond, but yes indeed I would love to, will I need to provide a worm for entry?@Aarons123
@IAmMyBoss I'm guessing your really busy on the AC-130, not dead or something, because you haven't been active for a bit...
@IAmMyBoss do you want to join the Worminators? I am the head of bomber command command, @RailfanEthan is our leader and makes all different types of worms. FYI the group against the Worminators is AWFUR (AWFUL as we call them) :D
Ya idk how we will go about making a tail, only if the width limit wasn't 5@Aarons123
Ac-130
This might be how to link I forget,
@IAmMyBoss sorry to say but the tails taking forever and it looks ugly, what I'm suggesting is not having a tail but making it crashed and put it on a landscape. I'll upload what I have now and you'll see how ugly the tail is...
@IAmMyBoss ok :)
Ya, the reason it is big is because the cockpit I used for it was 10x10 and if I made it 5x5 the windows would be all funky. Just try the best you can do In any way or fashion@Aarons123
@IAmMyBoss ok cool, also I noticed that the fuselage is 10 wide and 10 long so I can't edit it which means will need modders to edit it for us which will be a pain... or... I could use structure panels to simulate a fuselage until it is 5 wide so we can finish it normally. Go to my albatross bomber (either one) and look at the camo on the tail, I used the same tactic. Another long comment lol
K, just be sure to post non public and link me it so nobody sees it@Aarons123
@IAmMyBoss I'm a bit busy now and tomorrow but I'll definitely start tomorrow night :D
Go for it. And I'm the same way but I don't say it, I do it@Aarons123
@IAmMyBoss ok cool I'll do a collab, and sorry for imedently critizizing you Even though it's WIP I just critique anything that has one slight imperfection (what happens in my brain) "hmmmmmm small imperfection means plane will suck when finished, must give tips!" Which isn't true :D, I'll start on the wings? (Damit I'm obsessed with these wings)
And this is really early, I have been looking at photos i just haven't added details yet@Aarons123
Wow my head hurts from reading so much. Wanna just do a collab on this?and i saw you had 3999 and just upvoted a build to get you to 4000.@Aarons123
NO!!!!!! Like this... MI-12
Wait I swear it was like that...
Nope wrong way around... {MI-12}(https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/nw55g7/MI-12-homer)
Let's see if I remember how to link... (MI-12){https://www.simpleplanes.com/a/nw55g7/MI-12-homer}
Also you got me to 4000 points :) I was on 3999 yesterday lol
General tips: these will be an assortment of random tips for building and detailing,1. you can "nudge" on IOS by putting your camera inside a fuselage block and then dragging parts inside (doesn't work reliably) 2. Use rotaters and small rotaters "IOS nudged" into a fuselage block to form vents and grills. 3. Go to a build, download it and take some XML modded parts, be sure the creator lets you though EG: on my MI-12 there are struts that I got a long time ago which are 0.01 in diameter, there really useful. 4. This will be hard to explain :D, if you build doesn't have wings yet then keep them off for now, put a three blocks sticking out the side of the plane, put the cockpit on the middle block. Mirror the whole fuselage to the other side. Say you want a fuselage inlet inside another F inlet, you put one F inlet on the right side and the other on the left, mirror the right F inlet over the the left then remove the right F all together and replace the cockpit and remove the blocks and your done. 5. Ask other people because I'm quite stupid and can't build... :D
Tips: make the wings thicker (maybe like 1.25 or 1.00) at the point where they join the fuselage and slowly make them 0.25 at the tips of the wings. Also I suggest you look at some photos and blueprints of the AC-130 and just mess around with details of it because some details like grills look really hard to do but with different parts there easy.
(General tips coming soon, I didn't want to put them all in one comment :D )
