This may or may not be cursed
I don't know if 3 wings and contra-rotating prop engines make the plane look cursed enough to make you guys bleach your eyes, but I had to try.
Also this is officially my first "vintage" livery; it's supposed to be from the 1970s.
Have fun!
Here's a teaser for another fictional livery by the way (I drew the A320 from memory).
(Lore) About the "Triprop Triplane"
Shortly after the RCP gained independence in 1970, the previous national airline, Wright Airlines, was renamed into RCP Airways and got a new livery.
The airline started off with Boeing 720s and Boeing 737s that it inherited. But the airline's new CEO, Blake Scott, wanted a new long-range airliner that also made the name "Republic of Cursed Planes" a reality.
Wright Engineering Co. (now known as RCP Engineering), who had previously only made parts for aircraft, was instructed to make this plane. It partnered up with Boeing and made a new variant of the Boeing 727-200, finally coming up with the 727-300, which had some new and outstanding features:
- 3 wings (you can see them!) to improve lift so the engines wouldn't need to work so hard
- 3 brand-new contra-rotating turboprop engines that used less fuel.
(Because the 3 wings made placing windows in the center of the fuselage impossible, the galley and toilets were moved there.)
The aircraft was put into mass production in 1973, with 30 orders from RCP Airways, 15 from BEA, 17 from British Midland and 10 from Lufthansa, amongst other carriers.
A new version of the Triprop Triplane, the 727-400, was introduced in 1979 with fuel-efficient propfan engines. Amidst the 1980 oil crisis, the plane became extremely popular for airlines wanting to save money on fuel.
The 727-300, and later 737-400, flew with RCP Airways until 2000.
Relatively smooth landing

I will forever cement this as the plane that brought me to gold, even though that may or may not be true
very very very CURSED
and btw you just reached gold congrats!
Cursed.exe has entered the chat
Oh yeah, about my list of livery projects, I'm going to move the list to a forum post and link it to every airplane post after this one.
The advantage is that it makes the description look less wordy, I don't need to copy and paste the list every time, and I can place photos
VERY CRUSED
I see nothing wrong here
WH-DAT
(Asuna from blue archive: what that?)
The hwat
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I could turn it into an Il-62 style
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes lol
@CooperFilms001 isn't that just a Boeing 707 with a t-tail? lol
here
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes Ima upload it as unlisted and send it to you rq
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes I meant 4 wings, I actually made a 727 quad jet, but I haven’t uploaded it because it looks like this lol…
@CooperFilms001 the -400 didn't have 4 wings, they just changed the engines to propfans (although now that you mention it, a 727 quadjet sounds good)
@RepublicOfCursedPlanes make a 727 quad plane because of that lol
At this point I have exactly 4,727 points
Coincidence? I think not
