GBU-28
INTRODUCTION
The GBU-28 is a 5,000-pound (2,268 kg) laser-guided "bunker busting" bomb produced originally by the Watervliet Arsenal, Watervliet, New York. It was designed, manufactured, and deployed in less than three weeks due to an urgent need during Operation Desert Storm to penetrate hardened Iraqi command centers located deep underground. Only two of the weapons were dropped in Desert Storm, both by F-111Fs.One GBU-28 was dropped during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
The Enhanced GBU-28 augments the laser-guidance with inertial navigation and GPS guidance systems.
Controls
General fire controls
In-game characteristics
very Compact
For irl reference an F-15 strike fighter can carry two of these
Important notice !!: Don't try to mirror these bombs because these bombs use some funky trees that depend upon the number of bombs on the plane. I have already provided two bombs but if you want more on your plane then tell me in the comments and I will help you
Bombing sequence
Control find deploy after 2 seconds of launch
Now one thing that you would have noticed in this picture that OwO no Missile smoke!!??.
Yes no missile smoke for realism the bomb also acts as a real bomb and not like a missile so you won't feel like you are launching a missile.
BUT.........you may have to sacrifice something for no missile smoke aka realism
Low physics. That's it.
Destruction capability
It was at this moment that they knew they F(quack)ed up
Well there are neither Bunker nor busting mechanics in the game so there will be no bunker busting.............sorry
if you like my build consider upvoting and tell me in comments about any weird bugs or stupid stuff going on with the bombs and will fix them ASAP
ENJOY
