ALPHYN: A heraldic beast similar to a gryphon, having the head of a wolf, the body of a tiger, the talons (as forelegs), breast, and wings of a hawk, and a pair of lion's tails. The beast is the quintessential solitary hunter, known for relentlessly pursuing its prey.

+++ TYPE +++
A small tactical bomber designed for precision attacks on front line units and forward installations, while maintaining high-speed dash, reasonable maneuverability, and strong air-to-air defense capabilities.

+++ ACTIVATION GROUPS +++
1 - BOOSTER ENGINES: Engages the CONSTELLATION integrated engine system, which includes an enhanced gyro-stabilization unit (on whenever AG-1 is active), the QUANTUM DRIVE indirect thrust/ and XENON boost engine (VTOL bar up), and the GRAVITON anti-gravity VTOL motor (VTOL bar down).
2 - MAIN LASER BATTERY: Activates the ALPHYN's main heavy weaponry, a chin mounted STAR LANCE Maser Gun and two PULSAR dual-beam Shock Bolt pulse cannons.
3 - MAIN PROJECTILE WEAPONs: Activates the NOVA bomb-rifle system (based on the 50-ton mini-bomb; maximum ammunition capacity: 10 rounds), and twin wing mounted SAGITTARIUS Rocket Pods (70 round capacity).
4 - AIR to AIR MISSILES: Activates the FANG advanced AA missile system (Interceptor based; total missile load: 24 units).
5 - AIR to GROUND MISSILES: Activates the TALON advanced AG missile system (Cleaver based; total missile load: 12 units).
6 - ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS: Activates four STAR FIRE III fore and aft anti-aircraft laser pods, located along the wings.
7 - GROUND ASSAULT LASER: Activates the ventral mounted METEOR STORM shard laser array.
8 - DEFAULT SYSTEMS: Deactivating this group disconnects the main UMBRA reactor, deactivating all active sensors, as shown by extinguishing the various engine, radar, and running lights. Disengaging this group also disarms the plane's quick-response auxiliary weapon system, twin STAR DUST Particle Cannons embedded in the rocket launcher nacelles.
