RJ Triceratops MKII 5.0
Introduction
My entry for the three engine challenge.
Designed initially in 1938 but not constructed until 1942.
The RJ Triceratops is powered by 3 Rolls Royce Kestrel V12 engines swinging counter rotating propellors, this provides a nice ballance for weight distribution and provides a reasonable acceleration / top speed for the aircraft.
Initially the concept was based on a combination of other aircraft, the booms and fins are P-61 Blackwidow in style, the wing is Spitfire/Thunderbolt (with clipped ends), the fuselage is Westland Whirlwind, the main U/C is from a Wellington, nose gear from a Blohm und Voss fighter etc.
Armament consist of 6no. 20mm cannon mounted in the wing to give it the punch a heavy fighter of this nature requires.
Features; actual undercarriage bays, sequenced doors, suspension on main U/C, tapered wing, camo scheme, pilot with moving head etc.
Controls
AG1 = start the engines
VTOL dn = flaps
Note: This is not a light aircraft, approach speed for landing is around 200knts, any slower and you will loose pitch authority.

@SteadfastContracting your not the only one, on bandit Airport I was always losing the middle props... glad you liked it though.
Love the design, spent a lot of time just drifting him around on the ground lol. That also ended up with me accidentally confirming you can physically fly the plane with only one engine and a single set of blades...
ooo wonky design I like it
Welcome back!
Good job bro
