Eole Ascenbas

2,493 SamilanTransportSector  1.3 years ago

The Eole Ascenbas was an early glider made and first flown in 1835. Setting records as the best-flying glider, it still holds this record today. Miraculously, the Ascenbas still exists and is airworthy today, even though later this year, it celebrates its 170th anniversary.

@STENDEC It actually glides well with Autopilot for speeds if up to 430mph. Just make sure to invert the center ailerons before you do that.

@SamilanTransportSector The controls feel a bit stiff when trying to bank, also it doesn’t seem to pitch up or glide at high speeds.
