Brief history:The P-43 was a light ground attack aircraft that came before the P-47 developed in the late 1930s. Its first flight was in 1940. It served in America and China in early world war two. It was later replaced by the faster, better P-38 lightning. I like how I'm seeing so many new P-43s being made. the interesting thing is that while the p-43 was the father of the p-47, the p-43 was developed from the p-35.
