An experiment of making a refueling boom that works like real life ones. The thing above the cockpit is the receptacle, which I haven't tested as AI aircraft are hard to fly in formation with and I am doing this on iOS.
VTOL down to raise the port guidance wing, and trim down to raise the Starboard guidance wing. Both down will lower the Boom, and both up to raise it. The boom is stored against the fuselage by air pressure and will droop during take off, and landing.
If someone could test the refueling action of a similar system and take screenshots, that would be interesting.
*Note: does not transfer fuel.
