Convair/General Dynamics Model 48 Charger
Please Read!
The Wiki:
The Convair Model 48 Charger was a prototype light attack and observation aircraft of the 1960s, developed to meet a requirement for a dedicated counter-insurgency (COIN) aircraft. It was a two-seat, twin-boom aircraft powered by two turboprop engines which lost out to the North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco of similar layout, only a single example being built.

As Always:
I have always thought that this plane looked better than the OV-10. I was surprised to not see one here on the SP website, so I wanted to take a crack at it. There is a little bit of auto-roll, and I'm not sure whats causing it. Also a little wonky on take off, not sure whats wrong with the gear that's making her want to jerk about. Once in the air, flies pretty decently. If you have any suggestions for the issues listed, I'd greatly appreciate it. As always, please let me know if you have suggestions for improvement or if there is a vehicle you would like to see recreated. Thank you so much for stopping by, and enjoy your flight!!
