Eilodon (Warp Capable)
Predation Re-imagined.
The Eilodon is the predator of sky and void. With its warp drive, it is the perfect heavy interceptor. Its maneuverability rivals most mid-tier fighters, which is surprising given its size. It comes with plenty of room for passengers and cargo (Third Screenshot). It also performs quite well in a vacuum (Space).
Warp Theory at Play.....
The Eilodon was created to illuminate the role mass plays in warp theory. The performance of the Eilodon led designers to conclude that weight is crucial in warp performance. The heavier, the better.
Essentially, the Eilodon tested how mass, not weight, would influence warp performance. It is extremely lightweight, yet massive, thanks to @AmerigoB's special fuselage blocks.
Controls:
Activators 1-4: Warp Jump (60,000 mph)
Activator 5: Heavy Space Warp (Explained in Tips and Space Travel instructions!)
Tips:
Have your nose point up a bit before warping.
Do not fire the guns while warping.
You can only use activator 5 if you have met ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
- You are above 200,000 feet of altitude
- You have no remaining warps
Space Travel! Instructions:
1: Point your nose up, and press activator 1.
2: You are now moving up at about 40,000 mph! When you feel like it, point your nose straight down.
3: With your nose down, use activator 5.
4: You are spinning! And maybe Yawing! Adjust with your nose pointing down.
5: When you hit 200,000 feet of altitude, the plane will snap into a certain orientation.
6: Pitch up before you hit the ground!
