The Tupolev Tu-195 (codenamed “Entity”) is the Russians version of the B-52 Statofortress. With its 8 turbofan engines, massive wingspan, and a high-mounted cockpit, as well as solid landing gear, made this aircraft incredibly solid. It could also carry a heavy bomb load, of either nuclear bombs, iron “dumb” bombs, and even, with extensive modification, cruise missiles. Unfortunatley, due to it’s very hefty price tag, it never made it into production, and the project was lost with the collapse of the Soviet Union. But it was rediscovered by a Russian team of engineers, refurbished, and put into a Soviet aerospace museum.

This thing took FOREVER. But after many hours of work, a few nights with little sleep, and quite a few manly tears later, it’s here! This is by far my single greatest aircraft I have ever made.
