Saab JASX-77 Fenix
This is a remade version of my fictional aircraft Saab JAS-77 Fenix, but this time, not blocky :)
It's very heavy and the landing gear freaks out quite a bit so if anyone can help with that, please help me 😭.
I would like to say that the original Fenix was created using a blocky building style heavily inspired by SkYcOs, so please please please go check their stuff out, they have so much talent, and if it weren't for them I probably wouldn't have made the Fenix in the first place. I would also like to give credit to bjac0 for the code to the auto trimming feature on the Fenix. With all that said and done, I hope y'all enjoy the new and improved JASX-77 Fenix :)
the Fenix features 2 RB-99 AMRAAM missiles (capable of carrying 4), 4 RB-74 AAM missiles, and 2 RB-71(DF) SARH missiles.
The Fenix also features two 25mm guns underneath the intakes.
The Fenix is a multi-role aircraft (primarily for high altitude bomber interceptor first planned in 1985 as replacement for the Saab JA-37 Viggen, but later changed into an alternate version of the JAS-39 Gripen, eventually becoming its own seperate aircraft. It first entered service in 2001 and successfully shot down multiple russian drones and a single manned russian Su-27 Flanker. Like the J-35 Draken and Gripen, the Fenix took use of a double delta wing designed with 2 canards to improve low speed maneuverability and stability.
