MiG-24F "Fodder ll"
Da MiG-24F
The Mikoyan and Gurevich MiG-24F is a Long Range Interceptor built from 1983 to 1991 when production halted aftter Ussr went bye bye
Built to better intercept that pesky Nato bomber fleet the MiG-24F was a Improved Version of the MiG-24A including but not limited to: Larger fuel tanks, Better engines, Improved Sweep motors allowing for faster wing sweep, Aerial refueling, and an Enlarged bay load bay.
Backstory:
In 1982 the MiG-24 was proving to be a vary capable platform but it was slower than was planed it also lacked enough range for a farther Interception mission and after learning about the F-117 project they knew they were out classed(I know it was secret project but idc). After the MiG-24A's lack of guns cost 22 pilots there lives the Mikoyan and Gurevich Team was tasked with Improving the MiG-24 platform so the MiG-24F was born.
