Due to SP not being the best flight physics sim its not a very good flier, but it does do what it was made for, STOL.
And Yes, it was based of the glorious undefeatable Po-2, Russia's best fighter plane.
The EGV-23 Donkey is a light STOL bi-plane made in the 1920s. It was made for the people, so they could carry stuff, like transporting a piano or a pig. It has a seat that can be removed, and the pilots cabin, the back seat has enough room for 2 people if they squeeze. It is also very slow, and very poor maneuverability with fly by stick controls. The cockpit is advanced for its time, using lights and even trim.

The Po-2 wasn't a fighter... it was a light bomber used for harassing enemy ground units, most notably was Regiment 588, a.k.a "Night Witches" which stood out for it's all-women pilots and it's career of harassing German ground units during the night by only using outdated but capable planes, hence the moniker "Night Witches"
Nevertheless, the Po-2 wasn't a Fighter. Rather a capable light bomber
Love it

Nice
Good job
Is it still in service?
I personally don't like the green, but still, the plane is great. Nice details everywhere. Good job!
