Developed in 1958 for the US Navy, the Vaught XF8U-3 Crusader III had augmented engines and lower-body airstrakes for stability. In testing, it outperformed the F-4 Phantom. Takeoff MURPHY Airport, raise gear. NEXT HIT ACT =1 to go supersonic. Pass over the second island at 2,000+ mph. Kill throttle, glide to land at East Island or Tarpley Field (tested). Enjoy flying!
