Description

The primary purpose of the hull of the Jaguar Arms J.013A AMV (Armored Modular Vehicle) is its modularity, allowing it to possess communication variants, mortars, machine guns, specialty weapons and more variants. The Puma displays an advanced capability in a large range of roles, from delivering troops, amphibious landings, anti tank work and more.

Development

The idea of a modular fighting vehicle was first proposed to the Jaguar Arms after a gap was identified after a meeting within the Sosevean Ministry of Defense occurring on the 8th of June, 2014. Jaguar Arms followed up with two initial concepts on the 15th of July, the early prototype of the J.005 and the first prototype of the J.013A 'Puma', nicknamed 'Type 0'. The J.013A was selected over the J.005 AFV as it featured a better more modular hull compared to the J.005 AFV. Despite being declined by the Ministry of Defense, the J.005 AFV was later modified by Jaguar Arms and selected to go into service by the Ministry of Defense in the following year. The J.013A underwent development and the final prototype 'Type 3' was sent to the Ministry of Defense on the 20th of August. The Type 3 underwent rigorous testing and was deemed suitable and extremely capable for the role. From then, the J.013A 'Puma' AMV underwent initial orders from the Ministry of Defense, just 20 were ordered initially to be used in exercise Dual Sword which took place on the 9th of December. The Puma succeeded in the exercise and had great feedback from the crews of the puma. '..We had just came out of a months of training with this vehicle, we were ready to test our skills. The Puma did not disappoint on the weeklong exercise, me and the other crewmen of the unit were completely satisfied with the combined arms capability of the Puma.' - J.013A 'Puma' Crewman. From that point on, the J.013A 'Puma' was mass produced and has entered service within multiple units of the Sosevean Defense Force.

I like this thing! Looks very cool. It does drive a bit like a boat, but honestly I think that suits this type of vehicle.

Wheels do be vibin' though, increasing their mass by 4x fixes this. :)

@ChuanLiuBuXi2191 It's not really meant to for the SP model, you can make it go by using throttle but yeah, doesn't have a use in SP other than giving a slight speed boost
