Gladius
One of the last biplanes in the RAF, this sturdy fighter fought well in the early stages of the war due to it’s manuverablility and had an excellent range. It was also well liked by it’s pilots for it’s easy handling. However, it was soon surpassed by newer aircraft and were sold off to many nations after aircraft like the Microburst Mk I were introduced into RAF service.
This is the first biplane I have ever made. I made this before I discovered how to use XML, and I "modernized" it (the new cowling, the red and green lights, and XML modded wheels because it flipped over almost every time I braked). It still retains it's amazing flying characteristics though! It's highly maneuverable and really fun and easy to fly. This plane is probably the closest I'm going to get to replica since it's based off of the Gloster Gladiator Mk I and ended up looking (and flying) a LOT like it. It's a good plane to fight and fly, and I have done some interesting stunts with it already, such as flying through the bridges. Have fun!
