The Mk 6 Neygi showed that it was relatively easy to adapt the main fuselage to carry additional personnel. Inspired by this, the Mk 7 Neygi was designed as a transport plane, with a full cabin in the fuselage. Speed and agility are less important for a transport plane, so the engine, propeller and control surfaces are all lower-performance designs than on the fighter and reconnaissance versions of the Neygi. This makes the plane less costly to construct, as does the wing, which has also been redesigned to be simpler and less costly. The only other noteworthy change is the inclusion of flaps, controlled with the left slider. These aren't really needed to trim the aircraft - it maintains the Neygi trademark of being very well balanced - but they do allow for shorter take off rolls and easier landings. The pictured plane is one sold to a civilian airline, though the military also purchased plenty of these, converting some of them for use as ambulance planes.
