skr-AH-64-Apache
AH-64 armed helicopter is the product of the Advanced helicopter Armed helicopter Program ((AAH)), which was put forward in 1973. Prior to the AAH program, the United States Army implemented the "Advanced Air Fire support system" (AAFSS) program, but the plan was too ambitious and was cancelled on August 9, 1972, after a long and expensive research and development process. The United States Army reviewed the reasons for its failure and soon came up with a practical alternative, AAH. Unlike armed helicopters with ground troops and providing firepower support as the primary task, AAH takes into account the lack of fixed-wing attack aircraft in anti-tank capabilities and eliminates the huge disadvantage of NATO countries on the European battlefield compared with Huayo countries in the number of army armored force, defined as a professional anti-tank armed helicopter that can carry anti-tank missiles and pay particular attention to hunting hard targets and multi-target combat capabilities.
