a funkie funny and simple floatplane made for @WinsWings Seaplane challenge, originally had planned to be a full-type build but.. i lost the interest for it, so eh-

Seaplanes/Floatplanes with simple Part-Efficient constructions doesn't float(for takeoff) well.. so far.

the idea is interesting, made somewhat for the IJN Ooyodo which I'll probably make later, which also is the same case IRL, for Ooyodo's spotting group.

goes 1 part above 50 parts tenet i had but i guess it's worth it..? idk.

a detachable float and retractable floats just makes it seriously funni to me lmao.. oh did i mention it has contra-rotating propellers? yep.

The Kawanishi E15K Shiun ( Japanese : "Violet Cloud") was a single-engined Japanese reconnaissance floatplane of World War II. The Allied reporting name for the type was "Norm" after Squadron Leader Norman O. Clappison of the RAAF, a member of the Allied Technical Air Intelligence Unit (ATAIU).

[ Controls ]

• Standard Aircraft Controls
• VTOL : Flaps(retracts when above 200km/h+)
• AG1/Target Enemy <3km : Detach Float
• Gear Up : Retract Stabilizing Floats.

[ Taxiing ]

• eee... nop; ask some navy boys some help instead, you're out of luck.

[ Takeoff ]

• Throttle 100%, Flaps Half-down, and full Pitch up until takeoff.

[ Flight ]

• Standard Controls; it flies funky. W. Float it's heavy in turning and goes only for 400km/h+ max; W.out Float its more nimble and goes up to 500km/h+.

[ Landing ]

• 5-10% power for approach; 0% power and adjust flaps accordingly for landing.

[ Armaments ]

• N/A
• unless the pilot is baller enough to whack you with the main float, may be possible, may be.
• I didn't install the defensive MG for part-saving reason, so it goes.

• learned the cockpit trick from @Pancelvonat, quite.. smooth.
• a bit late today since I've spent the whole day to fix and tinker with this, so it goes also.
