The SF-95 Jupiter is a short range planetary defense fighter. Incapable of Spacial warping but incredibly fast the furthest you can expect to go is an interplanetary hop (which should take about 8 hours). Carrying 4 recessed weapons and 2 extremely powerful machine guns these things were the standard UNSF Fighter between 2293 and 2373, and initially carried on Daedalus class carriers, before being fitted out for other ships. Painted banana yellow as a special compound in the paint renders it invisible to sensors, and being invisible to the eye in space is apparently pretty pointless anyway.
