The SAAB J29 was a Swedish fighter developed by Saab AB for the Swedish Air Force. It was swedens first purpose built fighter jet. It was in service from 1951 into the 70s receiving multiple upgrade packages, allowing it to use American AIM-9 Air to Air missiles. It was additionally the second European fighter to use swept wing jet aircraft after the Messerschmitt ME 262. It is armed with two wing guns and two wing guns and two interceptor missiles.
