Yet another random experiment.
VTOL controls the wing sweep, and Trim controls the flaps (can also be negative inclined). There's no 'correct' way to fly this weird thing. Of course the wing sweep is more appropriate for high speeds and conversely.
It's a bit shifty when gliding so I would suggest keeping the throttle at around 10% for approach.
Keep in mind that the craft is quite light but doesn't hold much fuel for this powerful jet, so 100% throttle will dwindle fast. Use it to gain a lot of altitude or simply use lower throttle values.
