well, the Soviets/Russians used this context:

-F for "Forsirovannyy" which means "uprated"

-P For "Perekhvatchik" which means "interceptor"

-R For "Razuznavatelen" which means "Reconnaissance"

-L For "Lokator" which means "Radar"

-M For "Modifiziert" which means "Modernised"

-F For Forsaj which means"Reheat"

It depends on the role, so you can used modernized "M" or Uprated "F"
-or-
you can use western (NATO) Variant system that's not based on something, like an example F-16-C and Fishbed-C-13
probably it is accompanied with a number like a super missile of an era (k-13)

or B, C, D and E

@FennVectorCWA All of the SU line is a little based on Soviet post-war style. But i dont make any replics
