The Piston Turbine
22.6k Visify
7.4 years ago
A new form of propulsion. The piston turbine is driven by the torque created by 2 small piston engines. It runs alot smoother than a normal piston engine and has a steady high power output. The only thing that it lacks is rotational speed, it doesn't turn that fast, but I'm sure somewhere in the future I'll be able to fix that.

@Visify keep on talking... I will not loose another war!
@FlyingThings This means war...
@Visify the battle to make the first flying plane with this has begun...
@FlyingThings If they break try to set some of the rotating parts to no collisions. Even though it doesnt look like theyre colliding with anything it can still cause trouble. Also increasing mass on those parts will help with retaining momentum, but when adding ALOT of mass make sure you dismount them and reassembly them with shocks, with the help of shocks pistons and other mechanical parts can still operate well when attached to massive objects (this used to confuse me alot)
@Visify yep. Too fast and they break. But imma try to hit their limit.
@FlyingThings Mine couldn't get off the ground either lol, the faster the engines turn the more torque there will be and so the more power. However making piston engines turn fast is the problem.
@Visify Mine is to weak to get my plane of the ground. I need to try something else.
@FlyingThings Once you get it it's really simple and fun
@FlyingThings Good luck
Imma try to make my own one.
