Yak-36 Freehand
Name: Yak-36 Freehand
Type: Replica
Attempt #: 1
Falkenwut Generation Build: 2
Soviet Russia's VTOL demonstrator from the 1960s. Designed mostly to show off the capability and possibility of VTOL aircraft within the Soviet arsenal, to compete with the British Harrier of the time.
This was an early replica I tried to make during my hay-day of replica building. It didn't come too shabby, however the plane is pretty unstable in VTOL.
Ensure that you adjust throttle gently and avoid using the VTOL control at maximum thrust. Make minimal corrections as you go. Should you decide to change the payload, ensure that the Centre of gravity and the Centre of Thrust are vertically aligned.
Controls:
VTOL - VTOL control
Action buttons:
6 - Jettison Rocket pods
8 - Toggle Lights
