5,000. Mph Experimental Mig-25 Upgrade

50.4k Stingray  9.2 years ago
Auto Credit Based on Stingray's Mach 4 Mig FOXBAT-30

Takeoff concrete runway, ACT=1 Afterburners, raise gear. Reach 5,000+ MPH at 50,000 feet. Don't worry, no such Russian plane like this was built; this SP model has modded engines. Kind of interesting to fly, stable at all speeds. Enjoy!

Thanks for the natural curiousity, but at present I sometimes build SP game models. Not much more to say. @Rohan

Did you see the video of the Sniper pod? It was way to happy for a weapons system. @Rohan

Lol, I was kidding. Any tips on getting a job at Lockheed? Im planning on joining the USN as a pilot, then try for Lockheed or Boeing! @Stingray

@Rohan No way. Clue: barking up the wrong tree. You could research Lockheed TAV. Most search results will say "cancelled project" I think, but you gotta wonder. Trust everything on the internet?

Can you get me blueprints for the SR-72? Not detailed, but basic design? 😂@Stingray

Thx, SP favors dual engine platforms, in sim. Exception: engine mods will make an in-line thrust models go beyond limits of SP normal physics. Try it! @Rohan

Fyi-- actually reaches 6,900 mph (sim) at 60,000 feet. Just depends if you are that patient, the speed buildup takes a couple minutes.

@Puredeath Agree, depending on air density (altitude). This is a Sim City peed. Yet, within the bounds of Jundroo simulation, this model behaves very well. At 100,000 feet it slows down to around 2,000+ mph. Thanks for being observant.
