Experience of the battle of France in 1940 and the appearance of the T-34 and KV-1 confirmed the need for a heavy tank. The army ordinance department commissioned Porsche and Henschel to develop a appropriate design. Porsche being confident his designs would be picked, went ahead and manufactured 90 chassis, which were turned into the Elefant Tank destroyer. With a top speed of 24 MPH,and up to 4.3 inches of armor most allied tanks had difficulties penetrating its armor. It could be more detailed but for my first vehicle it looks okay.
