(Fictional) The Bang Bang Express was a 1972 pinto based funny car built in 1981. It topped at 265 mph in 1 mile however other witnesses say it topped even further back in ‘87. The Car was named after the fact that Pintos had a tendency to explode when hit in the rear and because of this the name was ocasionally controversial due to victims of rear end crashes in pintos and at one point a group of victims sued the team however it ended up ruling in favor of the team. (Remember this is fictional)
