Aermacchi SF-260
Hi guys! This is my latest replica, the Aermacchi SF-260. I started building this plane, because I didn't have any good Prop plane in my collection, so I had to solve this problem :)
The Aermacchi SF-260 is an Italian light aircraft marketed as an aerobatics and military trainer. It was designed by Stelio Frati, which flew the first prototype of it on July 15, 1964. The military versions are popular with smaller air forces, which can also arm it for use in the close-support role.
Thanks to Gestour for the awesome Animated Cockpit! Check his page too!
Instructions:
VTOL Down for flaps. DO NOT PULL UP.
G to use landing Gears
AG 8 to turn off/on all lights
Trim... to trim! Ya don't say?
This little guys takes off from anywhere. Throttle at 100%, VTOL 50% Down. The plane should take off by itself. Put VTOL back and Trim the plane. In flight, the plane is perfect for acrobatic maneuvers! I suggest you to introduce your experience with this plane, if you're an apprentice pilot! For landing, approach at 260mph. Throttle at 40%, VTOL 50% Down. At 500ft, set VTOL full Down, Throttle at 0%. Touch the ground with rear landing gears first. After that all the wheels have touched the ground, Brake.
Hope you enjoy! I spent two whole evenings on this model, and it's pretty good!
