MZ-F-240C is single engine delta wing and canard design fighter be alternative choice for standard base multirole aircraft, successor of F-240A. It is the first variant to be mass-produced for service entry, replacing F-16MZR alongside F-217C.

In the program to select a new standard aircraft, MZWM allowed personal to choose between the F-217C and the F-240C. The results showed that the F-217C was more popular in most of squadron, largely due to the reputation of the F-217A, which MZWM veterans had distinguished in the Syrian War.

However, in the AS-18 Death Raven Squadron, the situation was different. A veteran like Gizmo choose the F-240C despite previously flying the renowned F-217A "The Kingfisher" This led the rest of Death Raven Squadron to follow suit and opt for F-240C. The reason wasn’t that the F-217C was inferior but Gizmo just simply wanted to try something new.

The Death Raven Squadron is allied with India, with an air base located near the Chinese border. Although there is no active war, the area remains highly tense, and India seeks to protect its airspace near the border from any incursions, even from stealth aircraft.

For this reason, it is necessary to modify the aircraft to be suitable for this mission.

BVR Electro-Optical/IRST pod is used to detect stealth aircraft, working in conjunction with the new AM the MZ-AM-PIB-1 ARIS I that utilizes a passive infrared data link. This system allows the aircraft to lock onto targets at BVR range and fire without alerting the opponent on their RWR, unless the enemy has an Early Warning MAWS pod that's same to the one installed on the F-240C of the Death Raven Squadron also.
