With the new 1.11 Beta update, I am proud to present to you, my A-8 Aquan D-3 Model. The latest iteration of my F-55 Blueray / Aquan project!
I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with this Beta Release, as It has finally given my plane the proper justification it needs to look the way I wish it to!
It comes with detailed and functional cockpit:
I have tried to model it from existing cockpits (particulary the A-4, A-7 and F-100) in order to give it a realistic feel
. Unfortunately I myself do not own a VR headset. I would appreciate feedback on how this plane looks and feels!
And also, this plane comes with a functional refuelling probe!
It's actually pretty fun and easy to perform! I HIGHLY, HIGHLY urge that you guys try it out! It's a lot of fun!!
I still feel there is room for improvement from my end on this model, but for now, I am very happy with this! Let me know what you guys think!! Feedback would be fantastic! Especially when the Simpleplanes VR comes out!

Suggestions for VR: Throttle is positioned too far forward. Some labels are floating above the surface underneath. The flight stick is a bit too tall. Other than that, it's a nice build and fun to fly.
@AndrewGarrison Will be looking forward to your post! Since I myself don't own a VR Headset, I can only work on a 2.5D sense of guessing depth.
Something to consider is if the same problem is experienced between different players - I.e. If Height differences apply
@Falkenwut It's tough to know how things will look unless you strap on a VR headset, so that's why I'm trying to help give players feedback because not many have access to SPVR yet. I will make a post sometime soon with some general tips on making a cockpit feel comfortable in VR.
@AndrewGarrison Thanks for taking the time to check out my vr creations! Is it possible to make a post with the ideal measurements for throttle and stick?
Sick!
