Sidehill Gouger A1
The Sidehill Gouger is the most notable CIR heavy fighter. While rarer due to this aircraft's parts being rather rarely used in spliced airframes and the need for better-equipped facilities for it's production, it's seen as a valuable aircraft due to it's versatility. In particular, it's the backbone of the CIR's long-range precision strike force aimed at attacking enemy infraestructure and logistics far behind their frontlines (for perspective... it's job is being a "cheap" strategic aircraft). It's bizarre shape allows it to maintain symmetrical thrust in case of engine failure while still having a free nose.
While this machine is equipped as an intruder airplane, this model is also often seen in night fighter, strike, reconnaisance and even anti-shipping roles where it usually carries larger cannons in the nose. Here, the aircraft's armament consists of 4 18 mm cannons and 4 27 mm cannons.
Note: Key 8 is needed for the frontal engine to work. This was accidentally left in from testing it's engine-off capabilities, but it should be noted that it's very much capable of climbing on one engine, explaining it's long range in spite of the apparently low capacity.
