1953 Corvette

This is the 4000 Special!
The 1953 Corvette is a rare legend of a vehicle that changed the sports car world immensely. It was the first sports car to be made of fiberglass (Thanks to a shortage of steel from the war). With less than 500 units rolled out in the model year, it's extremely hard to find. The original Corvette used a special I6 engine, the Blue Lightning, which was switched out for a v8 the next year. It came with optional 3 speed manual, or the new 2 speed Powerglide Automatic transmission. Top speed maxed out around 107 mph. It came with a manual folding soft top, and an Am/Fm radio. However, there were no windows, and the door latches were faulty, as well as no seatbelts. Basically, you didn't want to crash it. The only colours you could get for this particular year was bright white, with a red interior.
To control this legend, use pitch and yaw, 1 for lights, and 8 for the engine.

@shipster It's really just my build style. I aim for realism, with a lower part count. But, the Cobra is a damn good car.

I like the 289 parts...it shows that even the corvette subconsciously knows the Cobra is better

Very nice rendition of a rare subject. You even got the solid axle rear suspension correct. I like the handling, the body rolls, but it doesn’t spin out at the drop of a hat, though it probably handles and accelerates better than the RL car. Nice work.
