Gyrodyne VTOL autogyro
This is a sample of gyrodyne, that is compound helicopter or compound gyroplane, just like mix of Autogyro + Helicopter. This type of aircrafts in real life are 'Fairey FB-1 Gyrodyne', 'Kamov Ka-22 Vintokryl', and etc.
To take off and land vertically just like a helo, activating and controling main rotor thruster(2-throttle axis), collective(3-vtol axis), and cyclic(4-pitch axis) is required.
If you want to fly as autogyro, turn off the rotor and turn on propeller. it improves traveling fuel economy.
or turn on both rotor thruster and propeller, If you want high manubability.
('1' for the hol. propeller and '2' for the main rotor)
I highly recommend neutralizing and turning off corrective and cyclic pitch control while the plane gets enough speed (about 130 mph) for stability.
'switch 1' activates the horizontal propeller;
'switch 2' activates thuruster of the main rotor;
and 'throttle axis' controls both power of the propeller and the rotor.
'switch 3' enables 'VTOL axis ' to manage corrective control;
and 'switch 4' enables 'pitch axis' to control cyclic pitch.
'switch 7' is used as activater of the rotor detacher for
safety bailout ;-)
