JF-3 Viper
Intro
Hi y’all! This is a 4.5th-gen, very-light(JAS-39/JF-17 equivalent) fighter with some low observability capability. Despite its smaller size, it is the technologically equivalent of the KFX block 1. As both designs lack internal weapons bays to be “truly” stealthy, they would not be considered 5th-gen, but are still formidable aircrafts against any 4th-gen platforms.
Due to its small size and hence shorter endurance, it would be intended for air forces with defensive doctrine and relatively small area of operations. Its combat capability and role depends on the environment: it can either triumph in air superiority roles, in regions where most potential aerial threats are not of 5th gen; Or it can serve greatly as a secondary multi-role platform to assist its more advanced allies by performing anti-surface missions and acting as a "missile carrier".
