4S50 Baal M

67.5k Zaychik  4 days ago

The 4S50, codenamed "Baal M," is a mobile coastal missile complex and a modernized successor to the earlier 4S34 system. The Baal M incorporates significant upgrades, replacing outdated 2000s-era technology with state-of-the-art systems developed in collaboration with Marteau Système.

The Baal system has its roots in the days of the Eldorian Empire when it was first deployed to counter rising tensions and perceived threats from the western continents. Positioned strategically along the nation’s coastline, including the Southern and Eastern Naval Bases, Baal installations provide a robust shield against maritime incursions.

Baal M is equipped with the venerable PK-600 "Shipwreck" missiles. Though an older design, these missiles remain highly destructive, capable of delivering both high-explosive and thermonuclear warheads with devastating impact. The platform is versatile, functioning as both an assisted and independent firing system. When operating in assisted mode, it relies on the 3T67 "Neck" ground radar system for enhanced targeting precision. However, it is also equipped with its own integrated 1K90 "Hammerhead" fire control system, developed by Marteau Système, granting it a high degree of autonomy in combat scenarios.

The Baal M stands as a testament to Eldoria’s commitment to maintaining a cutting-edge and resilient defense infrastructure, blending time-tested firepower with modern technological advancements.
