''Astral''

HAADS-1A is a surface-to-air high-altitude air defense system developed by the Federation to protect its airspace.

Development

Prior to the HAADS System, the Federation used a different version of the MIM-104, the BFAD-104, for high-altitude air defense.

However, with the deterioration of foreign relations in recent years, the Federation stated that it now wants a system of its own production instead of BFAD-104 systems.

General characteristics

Missile systems:
The system uses "HAM" Missiles, a more "finalized" version of one of the "XOAM" Prototypes developed by Brimor Ballistics.

Although the missile has a relatively not very long range of approximately 160 km, it is one of the most accurate missile systems by getting 108.4 out of 120 in the 2SST Test.
