Entwicklung E-100, II. It is one of the super heavy tank projects developed by Nazi Germany towards the end of World War II. This tank, part of the “Entwicklung” (German: development) series, was specifically considered as an alternative to the Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus.

Basic Information:

Project Name: Entwicklung E-100 (Panzerkampfwagen E-100)

Class: Super heavy tank

Weight: Approximately 140-150 tons

Armor: Very thick armor (up to 200 mm in the front), flat surfaces, not inclined

Weapons: Planned weapons included the 128 mm KwK 44 L/55 and optionally the 150 mm KwK 44.

Crew: 5 people

Speed: Estimated maximum 30-40 km/h (for highway)

Historical Development:

1943-1944: The German High Command wanted to implement standardized tank designs called the “Entwicklung” series (E-5, E-10, E-25, E-50, E-75 and E-100). The E-100 would be a less complex and more producible version of the Maus, being the largest tank in this series.

1944: The project was undertaken by the Adler company instead of Krupp. The aim of the E-100 was to produce a less costly, but still massive, armored and powerful alternative.

1945: Prototype production started. However, since the end of the war was near, only an incomplete chassis could be produced. The turret was not installed. This chassis was captured by Allied forces and taken to England.

Differences between E-100 and Maus:

Maus was heavier (around 188 tons) and used an electric motor.

E-100 was lighter (140-150 tons) and a conventional engine was planned.

Maus' production was more complex; E-100 aimed for a more practical production.

Nowadays:

The prototype chassis of the E-100 was tested by the post-war British but was later scrapped.

The E-100 tank is known today only through drawings, documents and a few models. It was not completed as a real working tank.

The interpaved wheels are inaccurate, and tracks are too short in height, and others more. Otherwise this is a nice build, and I'd happily help to fix these inaccuracies
