WBX-2 Galaxia: The Celestial Predator
In the late years of the 21st century, aerospace firm Withering Dynamics sought to develop a next-generation strike fighter that could dominate both atmospheric and near-orbital combat zones. The result was the WBX-2 Galaxia, an advanced multi-role fighter designed for high-speed interception, strategic bombing runs, and space superiority missions.

Development & Purpose
Born out of the classified "Starfire Initiative", the Galaxia was developed as a direct response to increasing extraterrestrial incursions and the rise of rogue orbital factions threatening planetary security. It was built to operate efficiently in high-altitude engagements, where traditional aircraft struggled to maintain control and firepower.

The WBX-2 featured a quad-engine propulsion system, capable of reaching hypersonic speeds, ensuring both superior agility and range. Armed with two high-yield missiles for precision strikes and two experimental rocket sabots, the aircraft could engage heavily armored targets and even small capital ships with devastating efficiency.

Design & Performance
The aircraft's sleek, delta-wing frame was crafted from classified composite alloys, allowing it to endure extreme speeds while maintaining stealth capabilities. Integrated with a hybrid plasma-turbine drive, the WBX-2 could temporarily boost beyond Mach 6 in the upper atmosphere, making it one of the fastest combat planes in existence.

Its cockpit housed an advanced neural-link interface, allowing pilots to synchronize their reactions with the aircraft in real time. This, combined with an AI-assisted targeting system, made it an apex predator in dogfights.

First Deployment
During its first field test over the Martian Exclusion Zone, the WBX-2 Galaxia was pitted against a rogue fleet of exo-pirates attempting to hijack a military cargo freighter. In a dazzling display of speed and firepower, the Galaxia outmaneuvered enemy drones and obliterated their lead ship using a direct-impact sabot strike, proving its lethality beyond doubt.

Legacy
With only a limited number produced, the WBX-2 remains an elite-class aircraft, piloted only by the best within planetary defense squadrons. Whether soaring through the stratosphere or engaging in high-speed aerial duels, the Galaxia stands as a testament to the next era of aerospace warfare—a true legend of the skies.
