The F-15 “Eagle” is quite possibly one of if not the most successful 4th generation fighter jet. Developed in the late 1960s, the F-15 was designed as the ultimate air superiority fighter, and a counter to the MiG-25 “Foxbat”. Entering service in January of 1976, the F-15 would prove its effectiveness across the world, from Operation Opera in 1981, to Operation Desert Storm in 1990, to Operation Allied Force in 1999, and many other missions. The F-15 is currently operated by the United States, Israel, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia. Its aerial combat record is practically unrivaled, with over 100 air to air kills for not a single loss against enemy aircraft.

This F-15 is an early A model F-15. It boasts powerful AIM-9 Sidewinders and AIM-7 Sparrows, tuned for air to air combat. It can also be outfitted with external drop tanks, dumb bombs, or even anti-satellite missiles.

Aircraft handling notes:
Do not use both trim and pitch at max at low speeds, otherwise the aircraft may spin.

Flaps don’t really do anything other than look cool.

Handling is semi realistic, barring acceleration which is somewhat unrealistic.

Landing is rather difficult. Approach at around 220-230 knots at 10% thrust. Then gently land the aircraft and apply brakes.
