Six Engined Modern Seaplane

2 Jets + 4 contra-rotating props!.

AG2 for on/off the jets

US NAVY Iwo Jima Mark 2 in South China Sea, August 2026

Iwo Jima N22-B is a successor or Iwo Jima Mark1. This got 2 extra jet engines for a better take off and speed boost during the flight. Jets can be turn on and off by using AG2 switch or you have a button if you are piloting in VR mode.

Unlike Mark 1, this version is armed with Exocet Mark 2 anti shipping missiles. Exocet is a famous deadly missile produced in France and was used in Falklands war.

Armament:

  • 2x Exocet Mark 2 anti shipping missiles (range 7 miles)
  • 2x torpedos
  • 2 unguided bombs

Controls

AG2 for turning on/off the two jets

Very stable aircraft to fly, landing speed about 120 mph, nose up
Very nice takeoff from sea or land, better turn on the jets (AG2) for power take off.
