XT1 MCV
The Veiian army recognized the T4 series' firepower and survivability but also saw its sluggishness demonstrated in the streets of Maloor. The Maneuver Combat Vehicle Program was launched to develop a more reactive gun platform (also to test the capabilities of domestic industries) in 1985. The submissions would mount the high velocity 105mm T20.
The XT1 was developed by the Tengjing Arsenal, improving on the T4B. While sticking to conventional tank design, the XT1 would be more mobile, have better fire control systems, and use experimental composite armor, giving it over 300mm of frontal armor, sacrificing the autoloader.
