So first off, there are a couple of problems that can't really be fixed:
1. the reel-in is too fast because if its slow it takes forever to setup.
2. slow motion has to be on when the harpoon hits anything or it will blow up.
now the controls:
to start put VTOL all the way up and enable fast forward until the winch stops spinning, then use trim and pitch to aim. when you are pointed in the right direction, enable slo-mo and press 1 to fire. once the harpoon is attached press 2 to detach the cockpit from the launcher and put VTOL down all the way and the cockpit should be pulled to the harpoon.
(note, the harpoon only attaches to bridges and ships)
