Messerschmitt-Me 380 G
My first 1000 part build
Overview
The Messerschmitt Me 380 is a German medium-heavy bomber designed to balance both heavy defensive armaments with relative speed and performance at all altitudes. It’ is powered by 2, 12 cylinder BMW 304 radial engines, which are mirrored for each side of the aircraft to prevent auto roll, each engine drives a 150 inch propeller allowing it to reach speeds in excess of 250 mph at sea level, even with a 6000lb internal bomb load
Armament
Defensive
the Me 380 features 4, remotely operated gun turrets, 3 armed with 20mm cannons and 1 dorsal turret armed with a single Bk5 canon.
Operation of the turrets:
•Twin 20 my nose turret
This turret has a range of 360° by 90° and is operates with the sum function. To activate the turret controls activate 5 and use roll and pitch to traverse and pitch respectively. Select “nose 20mm” and fire weapons to fire and camera 2 to view). After 5 is deactivated the turret will return to either facing forwards or behind based on its position at the time (this function took a long time to make so hope you appreciate it as it stops the turret spinning for hours after you deactivate it)
•Rear facing dorsal turret and side mounted 20mm guns
These turrets do not use a sum function and will zero after roll is released. To activate use 4 and select either “Tail 20mm” or “Cannon”. These guns have either a range of 60° by 60° for the dorsal gun or 30° by 60° for each of the side guns
Disclaimer:
If the rear guns are active then the forward gun will be deactivated to prevent the sum function getting confused
Offensive
This particular Me 380 has an internal bomb load of 24 250lb (6000lbs in total) bombs, to allow bombing activate 3 to open the bay doors. It also features automatic dive breaks (although not recommended as a tactic due to the size of the aircraft), they will deploy when the dive angle exceeds 30° and airspeed is over 100m/s.
The nose mounted 20mm turret also serves as an effective weapon against infantry and light armoured vehicles at lower altitudes.
Other controls
Ag8 to open engine cowling
Ag7 for landing lights
VTOL down to lower flaps

So how many steroids did you give this bf-110
This is a great build! I love all the controls and the shape of this is really awesome. Very fun to use
Awesome job! Flies great and its very fun to bomb stuff
The high part count is purely because this build was a test of both myself and my iPad and I’ll take into account what you’ve said, thank you @ChiChiWerx
An interesting build, a fairly good flight model, precise construction, interesting features, some advanced Funky Tree-ing. It’s fun to fly, which is great. A word of advice...a high part count isn’t something to necessarily brag about. Use as many parts as required, but don’t just build and add parts for count. Anyway, it would be great to see you apply your skills to a replica build. It’s fairly easy to rationalize a short cut or simplification on a fictional build, but a replica forces one to duplicate a feature correctly or to find a good workaround. Nice work.
Use the one for the dorsal gun, I know you can’t really see underneath but it gives another usability to see and has the same pitch and traverse range @Bob9998
