Background

The Type-130AS Malva is an Assault Gun/Tank Destroyer developed by the Neorasia Army. The Type-130AS is a variant of the Type-130 Kayoko, based on the chassis of the heavy tank Type-130, which was developed alongside the Type-130 Kayoko. Initially, the Type-130AS was designed solely as an Assault Gun, but it was gradually adapted for use as a Tank Destroyer.

The Type-130AS saw its first combat deployment during the Battle of Fuzhou City, where 17 units were deployed to counter the 1st Cavalry Division of Mizuhara. However, in this battle, 8 Type-130AS units were destroyed, and 2 were successfully captured.

During the Battle of Eastern Yumemori District, a Type-130AS belonging to the Neorasia Marines survived a bomb dropped by the STB-01 Enterprise of the Mizuhara Navy, which detonated 1.5 meters to the tank’s right side. However, the tank was ultimately destroyed after being struck by an infantry anti-tank weapon, the Valkyrie’s Fang, which penetrated its top armor and detonated the ammunition inside.

During the Battle of Imperial Bay, only 37 Type-130AS units remained operational within the Neorasia Army. Seventeen units were deployed in the southern part of the city, while 20 were positioned in the northern sector. By the end of the battle, 34 Type-130AS units were destroyed, and the remaining 3 units were captured by Mizuhara forces.

Post Civil War
After the Civil War ended, it was confirmed that 1,183 units of the Type-130AS were produced, with 1,177 units destroyed and 6 units captured by Mizuhara forces.

The Type-130 Kayoko and its variants were eventually put back into production by Shadow Heavy Industry in 2045 to strengthen the Mizuhara Federation Forces, as a response to the rapid military development of the Federación Estelaria, which had recently been established following a coup and the assassination of the royal family of the Monarquía de Celestaria in 2043.

The variant produced by Shadow Heavy Industry was designated as the Type-130AS Weiße Frau.
